Amongst the willows, original painting in Acrylics with gold foil.

I was in a Gloucester junk shop and I came across a lovley 1940's cabinet/cupboard, which was on it's last legs. It had a glass door with such a lovely beaded arch, which I thought would make a window to frame one of my paintings.

I am so pleased with how it turned out, it's a great piece!

It is very solid, and measures 47/76 cm, in a dark wood.

Ive attached D rings and cord at the back to hang it like you would a framed painting.

I love it's orginal handle which I've left on, along with the hinges.

Willow hare is painted in acrylic, and has lovely gold foil all about her. I've varnished the paint and gold to protect it from tarnish.
