The Blackthorn Birds
 
This is painted upon an old panel which I was told came out of a village hall after it was renovated. It's perfect for me as I love that arch at the top, and it gives me a natural frame.
 
The ripe Blackthorn berries are popular, as all the birds gather to have a feast!
Swallow, Wren, Great tit, Robin and Black bird all get along for a while as they pick their favourite.
 
This is painted in acrylics, and gold foil, I'm so pleased with it :)
